Thank you for buying our WordPress Theme. The complete procedure to configure and manage a WordPress Website from the beginning is shown in this documentation in different portions.

What is a Wordpress Template?

A WordPress template acts as a skin for the websites which are created on WordPress CMS. The installation of a WordPress Template is very easy. With the help of an installed new template, you can change the look of your WordPress website very easily. All the requisite source files are provided with a WordPress template and you can freely go for editing and increasing it the way you want.

File Structure

The template package you have downloaded consists of several folders. Let's see what each folder contains:

    Screenshots -contains template screenshot. Not for production.
  • theme -contains wordpress theme files
  • "vw-birthday-party-pro-zip" -this folder contains all the necessary files for the theme.
  • "license.txt" -contains license details
  • "readme.txt" -contain information about theme images path, font use and usage script

My site was working fine before? Who changed the File Permissions?

Incorrect file permissions can block WordPress from creating folders, upload images, or run some scripts

WordPress needs permissions to manage files and create folders on the server.

  • After that select all folders in root directory and then right click to select "File Permissions".
  • File Permissions: wp-config >> permissions dialog box >> lick on checkbox read and write >> lick on the OK button to continue

Template Installation

Template installation is very easy process.

All installation steps can be done within WordPress interface. It makes process comfortable and fast.

The installation process can be done in two ways

1-Install a theme using wordpress admin

First thing you need to do is to login to your WordPress admin area. Next, click on

1.Go to the menu Appearance >> Themes

2. Once you are on the themes page, click on the Add New button at the top.

3. Click on upload theme button.

4. Click on Browse Button then select your vw-birthday-party-pro theme and click on install now button.


5.WordPress will now install your theme and show you a success message along with the link to activate or live preview.

Congratulations!! Your theme have been successfully installed.

2-Install a Theme using FTP

Your second installation option is to upload the theme via FTP. For this method first log into your site via FTP and browse to your folder located at wp-content/themes. Unzip the theme file you downloaded and upload only the extracted Total folder to your server.

Next log into your WordPress site and navigate to Appearance >> Themes to activate Total.

Plugin Installation.

To install a WordPress Plugin manually by .zip archive and follow the below steps for Upload plugin .

Install Required Plugins:

vw-birthday-party-pro-posttype plugin ,Instagram-feed-plugin, vw-social-media plugin, contact-form-7 plugin

Go to Dashboard >> plugin >> Add New >> Upload plugin.

Read through all plugin details, read theme documentation to learn how to use plugins for additional functionality

First you need to upload zip file (vw-birthday-party-pro-posttype.zip) of posttype plugin.click on the install now button and activate plugin.

click on the install now button and activate.

Demo Importer

Import demonstration content with one click to get your theme setup. This content will guide you through building your website for website creation.

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Get started

Before click on "Run Importer" first you need to install VW Birthday Party Pro Posttype Plugin.

Click on "Demo Content Importer" and then "Run Importer".

Section Color / Font Pallette

Color / Font is very easy process. We have given these options in all sections of customizer. It is a complete image to show you about color and font pallete. At a single glance of click you can set the color and fonts of the Headings, Paragraph and Buttons

Every individual section have an option to set the color pallete for Headings, Title/Text, Paragraph, Button Text and Button Background depending upon the number of option that are available in that respective section.

Section Ordering

How to Arrange and Reordering Section

Section reordering basically means to arranage the section as per our requirement. in order to proceed with this section you need to drag section on top or bottom where you need it. when you will drap any section top or bottom your front view will change according customizer values.

For Section Re-ordering,you just need to simply drag-and-drop options into any order as per your wish .

In order to proceed with Section Ordering.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Section Ordering


Theme Setup

Once you view your site after activating the theme, You will see the index page with the latest post. Now you will need to setup the home page template to show all the demo section on your front page.

Setup Homepage Template

Follow these instructions to setup Home page.

  • 1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

    Label it "home" or anything as you wish. Then select template "home-page" from template dropdown.

  • 2. Set the front page: Go to Setting >> Reading >> Set the front page display static page to home page

    • Once you are done with this, you can see all the demo content on front page.

Setup Site Identity

In order to proceed with Site Identity.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>site identity


1. Setup Header Section

In order to setup the Header Section, follow the below steps.

1. Go to Go to >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme setting >> Header.

2. Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> add new page with addition of image if you want to add and allot the page to that section. You can do this several times for creating multiple pages to allot in same section.

For menu you need to add pages than

Go to >> Appearance >> Menus >> Add menu

Repeat the same steps if you want to add more pages.

In this way you can add the menu section.

1. Setup Slider Section

In order to proceed with slider.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Slider Settings

In this way you can add the Slider Settings.

2. Setup Countdown Section

In order to proceed with Countdown.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>Countdown

In this way you can add the Countdown section.

3. Setup About Us Section

In order to proceed with About Us.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>About Us

In this way you can add the Our About US.

4. Setup Guest List Section

Follow the below steps to setup Guest List Section.

In order to setup this section first you have to install " vw-birthday-party-pro-posttype" plugin.

After installation of the plugin Services option will appear on the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard >> Guest List >> Add New.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Guest List Section .

In this way you can add the Our Guest List Section.


5. Setup Book an Item Now Section.

Follow the below steps to setup Book an item now Section.

First you need to install and activate Woocommerce Plugin. After activating plugin Product will appeared on your dashboard.

After installation of the plugin Recent Work option will appear on the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard >> Product >> Add New Product.

Go to Appearance >> Customizer >> Theme Settings >> Book an Item Now Section.

In this way you can add the Book an Item Now Section.


6. Setup newsletter Section.

Follow the below steps to setup newsletter Section.

In order to setup this section first you have to install " Contact form7" plugin.

After installation of the plugin Contact option will appear on the dashboard.

In order to proceed with newsletter Section.

Go to Dashboard >> contact >> Add New.

Go to Appearance >> Customizer >> Theme Settings >> newsletter.

In this way you can add the Newsletter Section.

7. Setup Testimonial Section

In order to proceed with Testimonial Section,first you need to upload and activate the "VW Birthday Party Pro Posttype" plugin.

After installation Testimonials option will appear on the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard >> Testimonial >> Add New

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Testimonial Section

In this way you can add Testimonial section.

8. Setup Our Gallery Section

Follow the below steps to setup Our Gallery Section.

In order to setup this section first you have to install " VW Gallery " plugin.

After installation of the plugin Gallery option will appear on the dashboard.

Go to Dashboard >> Gallery >> Add New.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Gallery Section .

In this way you can add the Our Gallery Section.


9. Setup FAQ'S Section

In order to proceed with FAQ'S .

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >>FAQ'S

In this way you can add the Our FAQ.

10. Setup Our Sponsors Section

In order to proceed with Our Sponsors .

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Sponsors

In this way you can add the Our Sponsors.

11. Setup Our Blog Section

Follow the below steps to setup Our Blog Section.

In order to setup this section first you have to install " vw-birthday-party-pro-posttype " plugin.

Go to Dashboard >> Posts >> Add New.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Blog Section .

In this way you can add the Our Blog Section.


16. Setup Our Video Section

Follow the below steps to setup Our Video Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Video Section .

In this way you can add the Our Video Section.


12. Setup Our Locations Section

Follow the below steps to setup Our Locations Section.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Our Locations Section .

In this way you can add the Our Locations Section.


Footer Widgets Section

Setup Footer Widgets Section

For adding widgets in the footer please follow the given steps and enable the footer widget.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>>Footer Widgets


There are three columns in the footer , you can add maximum four columns in the footer. Each column have different element to show. These sections will be setup from the admin pannel widget section. Add whatever widget you want and you can update the widget.

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Widgets


It will appear like this on the front end.


Footer Text

In order to setup the Footer Text Section, follow the below steps.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>>Footer Text.

It will appear like this on the front end.


Setup Contact Section

In order to setup Contact Section follow these steps.

1. You need to follow some initial important steps.

2. You need to add contact form 7 plugin.

Create contact form

Go to Dashboard >> Contact >> Add New

Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Contact

Add contact form shortcode


Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Setting >> Contact




In this way you can setup Contact Section


General Settings

In order to setup General Settings section follow these steps.

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>>General Settings

Here you change page title in left,right and center.


Setup Post Settings Section

In order to setup Post Settings section follow these steps..

Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings>>Post Settings



Theme Plugins

Plugins are ways to extend and add to the functionality that already exists in WordPress.

How to activate plugins If you want these functionalities in your theme for which you need to activate plugin. Follow these instructions to activate plugin in your theme.

First, you need to download "vw-birthday-party-pro-posttype" plugin.from the source which will be a .zip file.

  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. With that done, click Categories for blog posts.
  4. Type in the name of your new category.
  5. After that, click the Add New Category button.

  1. Log into your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
  2. Click the Posts tab.
  3. Click the Add New tab.
